Would you, my followers, be interested in reading those types of blog posts?

How I Shape My Eyebrows

Hello everyone! Every now and again the times comes to re-shape my eyebrows and clean up a little around the edges. I do not feel the need to drastically change the shape of my eyebrows, but I definitely need to get rid of the rogue hairs that appear along the edges. I have recently turned to YouTube in hopes of finding an easier way to deal with the rogue hairs without having to pluck every individual hair. I stumbled across this video, which uses facial hair removal cream instead of tweezers or wax. Since I found this video, I have been using this method to clean up my eyebrow shape, and it has proved to be the most effective and painless method I have ever used. Now let’s get on with how I actually shape my eyebrows.

First, you will need to purchase some facial hair removal cream. I use the Sally Hansen Creme Hair Remover Duo Kit, which can be found at your local drugstore. Some of those pointy q-tips also make the application process much easier.

Second, wash your face so make sure there is no leftover makeup or product around your eyebrows.

Next, outline the shape you want. If you are more experienced in shaping your eyebrows, you can totally skip this step.

Apply the hair removal cream onto your skin via q-tip. *NOTE: Please do a small test patch on your forearm and wait a few hours before applying to your face to ensure that you are not allergic to the product.*

Then, follow the instructions on your hair removal product to see how long to leave the cream on your skin.

After the time is up, take a damp paper towel or washcloth and gently wipe away the cream.

Finally, take a clean wet washcloth and gently wash the area where the cream was applied.

If there are any stray hairs left, use some tweezers to get rid of them.

And that is how I shape and clean up my eyebrows! What method do you usually use to shape your eyebrows, if any? Let me know down below!

Tarte vs Kat Von D Liquid Lipsticks

Hello everyone! Lately matte liquid lipsticks have been all the craze. However, with so many formulations, which liquid lipstick is better?

The other day I was testing out some makeup looks for my school’s senior prom, and I was having trouble deciding between two lipsticks: Tarte’s Tarteist Lip Paint in “tbt” and Kat Von D’s Everlastng Liquid Lipstick in “Lolita.” I applied the Tarte lipstick to my upper lip and the Kat Von D lipstick to my bottom lip. I noticed right away that the two colors are almost identical on my lips, so the only choice I needed to make was about formulation.

Formulation wise, the Tarte lipstick is a thick, almost whipped consistency. The Kat Von D lipstick is extremely thin, which does make the product easier to apply.

The main difference in the two is how much product transfers after the lipstick has dried. The Kat Von D lipstick has absolutely no transfer whatsoever. However, the Tarte lipstick transfers quite a bit, which is very disappointing.

The transfer-ability of the lipsticks is literally the only difference between the two. If I had to pick between the two, I would chose the Kat Von D lipstick because it seems to last longer and simply stays put better than the Tarte lipstick.

New Posts!

Hello everyone! School has officially ended even though graduation is still two weeks away. This week will be spent creating blog posts and I will publish them next week!

A big thank you to all of you for being so patient with me and my inactivity!

If you have any suggestions for what you’d like to see, let me know down below!

Apologies for the Inactivity

Hello everyone! I know I haven’t been active, and I am truly sorry about that. I am 25 days of class away from graduating high school, and everything has been extremely busy so I unfortunately haven’t been able to get around to writing posts.

On the bright side, I will be back up and running at the very beginning of summer!!!

Thanks to all of my followers for sticking around through this period of inactivity❤️

The Best Makeup Remover Ever?!

Hello lovelies! As you know, a makeup remover is extremely necessary to those who wear makeup. Since I have been wearing makeup for quite some time, I have cycled through multiple makeup removers searching for one that doesn’t make my face feel gross and actually removes my mascara without too much trouble. I believe I have finally found it!
About a year ago, I picked up a $6 mini bottle of the Sephora-brand Triple Action Cleansing Water while I was waiting in line to check out. Now let me tell you, this is the best and most effective makeup remover I have ever used. My face feels perfectly clean after each use, my makeup comes right off without any fuss, and I have never used a product that is capable of removing waterproof mascara as fast as this makeup remover.

I quickly used up this bottle and went to purchase the next size up, which is 6.76 0z. After using that up, I quickly returned to Sephora to pick up the big 13.5 oz bottle, which comes with one of those pump tops. The 6.76 oz bottle is $12; whereas, the 13.5 oz pump bottle is $20. That is twice as much product for less than double the price, so it is actually better to purchase the bigger bottle.

Here’s how it removes a dark eyeliner:

Keep in mind, this is how much makeup remover I put on the cotton pad:

In fact, I still use the mini bottle for travel. I simply pop off the top and refill!

I highly suggest this makeup remover to literally everyone. It does not matter if you have dry or oily skin, this makeup remover will work perfectly and still leave your skin feeling clean and refreshed! Since we are talking about removing makeup, which products do you find are the hardest to remove? Let me know down below!

How to Fix Broken Pressed Powders

Hello everyone! I apologize for not posting as much recently due to some stressful weeks at school. I am also going on vacation, so I have been trying to pack for that. You can check out what makeup products I am taking with me here!

ON TO THE ACTUAL POST! So recently, I was in the mood to depot some eyeshadows and tried to depot a mini Benefit powder foundation. However, when I was lifting the pan out of its casing, the powder shattered! This makeup tragedy inspired me to write this post so I can show those in my situation how to fix your broken eyeshadows, blushes, and powder foundations!

Things You Will Need:

Your broken pressed powder

A small plate or cup

A butter knife

Rubbing alcohol
